LOS ANGELES, California — October 21, 2025
Dynamic Television announced today that Hulu has acquired the exclusive U.S. streaming rights to INNATE, the upcoming Spanish psychological thriller created by Fran Carballal (Cicatriz, Una Vida Menos en Canarias) and Enrique Lojo (En Fin, Una Vida Menos en Canarias). INNATE is a series from Plano a Plano Bilbao (part of ITV Studios) produced by Innato La Serie AIE, in association with Dynamic Television, who also serves as the worldwide distribution partner for the series. In Spain, the rights were acquired by Netflix. INNATE (8 x 45′) is expected to premiere late this year.
“We are thrilled to have Hulu exclusively stream INNATE in the U.S.,” said Carrie Stein, President of Global Television for Dynamic. “With Hulu showcasing the world-class talent and gripping narrative of the series, we are confident INNATE will resonate strongly with U.S. audiences”.
César Benítez, President of Plano a Plano, added “We believe in the power of great storytelling, and with Hulu by our side, we are confident we can bring our stories to the broadest possible viewership”.
Directed by Lino Escalera (Élite, Alta Mar) and Inma Torrente (Valeria, Suspicious Minds, Desaparecidos), INNATE stars Elena Anaya (La Piel que Habito, Wonder Woman, Rifkin’s Festival) and Imanol Arias (Cuéntame cómo pasó). Executive producers include César Benítez, Emilio Amaré, Álvaro Benítez, Daniel March and Carrie Stein.
Innate follows the story of Sara (Elena Anaya), a psychologist who has left behind a traumatic past as the daughter of Félix Garay (Imanol Arias), a serial killer once dubbed by the press as “the Diesel Killer.” Today, the idyllic life Sara has built with her husband Aitor (Roberto Álamo) and their teenage son Sebas (Teo Soler) begins to crumble when Félix is released from prison, coinciding with a new wave of crimes that eerily mirror the murders committed 25 years ago. Having hidden her past from her family for years, Sara must now collaborate with the police to solve the case.
