PLANO A PLANO is an independent film and television production company.
In 2014 we entered the television network with PRÍNCIPE (EL PRÍNCIPE) (Telecinco), our first series with Jose Coronado, Álex González, Hiba Abouk and Rubén Cortada and set in Ceuta.
During 2015 we traveled to Seville with DOWN BELOW (ALLÍ ABAJO) (Antena 3) by María León, Jon Plazaola and Mariano Peña to produce our first comedy. The trip was so pleasant that we have produced five successful seasons.
The following year we took on the challenge of moving to the Spain of the sixties to investigate, together with Fernando Guillén-Cuervo and Verónica Sánchez, the most shocking stories that have appeared in CRIME TIMES (EL CASO. CRÓNICA DE SUCESOS) (TVE).
In 2016 we traveled to Santander together with Lydia Bosch, Jon Kortajarena and Elena Rivera to discover THE TRUTH (LA VERDAD) (Telecinco).
Since 2017, embarked again in the police world with TO SERVE AND PROTECT (SERVIR Y PROTEGER) (TVE), we show the most human side of the professionals who are responsible for ensuring our safety.
Likewise, in 2018 we had fun together with Ramsés and Salva Reina solving all the cases of their detective agency SABUESOS (TVE).
Nowadays we’ve just released TOY BOY (A3), a sharp thriller shooted in Málaga starring Jesús Mosquera, Cristina Castaño and María Pedraza, in which we are immersed in the web of power that hides the high spheres of the coastal city. This production has also achieved great international success thanks to its subsequent broadcast on Netflix.
That same year, we started with the shooting of VALERIA (Netflix) our journey in the production for digital platforms. This sere, released in May 2020, is inspired by the book saga ‘Valeria’, the best sellers of the Spanish writer Elísabet Benavent.
In addition, in 2020 we have once again packed our bags, setting off for BENIDORM (Atresmedia), our new comedy of entanglements for the prime time of Antena 3.
And with the premiere of DESAPARECIDOS (Amazon Prime-Mediaset Spain), and with the help of Juan Echanove, Michelle Calvó and Maxi Iglesias, we tackle the reality of thousands of families whose loved ones have disappeared without a trace.
