RTVE sets a date for the premiere of the Cicatriz series
- Milena Radulovic, Juanlu González and Luis Fernández star in this international co-production shot on location in Spain and Serbia.
- It combines thriller and drama elements in a story of justice and revenge.
- The first two episodes will be broadcast on Wednesday 21 August at 22:45 on La 1 and RTVE Play.
Cicatriz, the series based on the bestseller by Juan Gómez-Jurado, will be broadcast on Wednesday 21 August at 22:45 on La 1.
It is an international co-production, with a cast made up of established Spanish actors and international stars who are well known in the Adriatic audiovisual industry.
Milena Radulovic (Besa, Superdeep) and Juanlu González (La caza. Guadiana, La otra mirada) play the lead roles of Irina and Simón. Luis Fernández (Servir y proteger) is Tomás, Simón’s best friend and partner, and Julen Serrano plays his brother Arturo.
Serbian actor Stefan Kapicic (Deadpool, Better Call Saul) plays Boris, one of the most respected Russian mafia bosses in Spain, and Mladen Sovilj, a renowned actor in the Balkans, will be Vanya, Boris’ right-hand man and professional criminal. Goran Susljik, Serbian filmmaker, actor and producer, will play The Afghan, a key figure in Irina’s past, present and future.
Cicatriz is a co-production of Cicatriz AIE and Dopamine, with executive production participation of Plano a Plano, in collaboration with Asacha Media Group and Adrenalin, in association with RTVE, Prime Video España, Telekom Srbija, Canal+ and RTL.
The series is directed by Miguel Ángel Vivas, Manuel Carballo and Alejandro Bazzano.
The writers are Fernando Sancristóbal, Pablo Roa, Verónica Marza, Laura Belloso, Fran Carballal, Ramón Tarrés and Pablo Manchado.
