The life of Fermín, a young and attractive priest deeply loved and admired by the inhabitants of La Isleta—the beautiful coastal village where his parish is located—takes a complicated turn when his beloved cousin Isaac and his stunning wife, Ana, move there. Almost immediately, Fermín finds himself drawn to Ana, and when he discovers that she harbors the same feelings, an intense inner struggle begins.

If he gives in to temptation, the betrayal will be twofold: on one hand, he would be deceiving God, to whom he has dedicated his entire life, and on the other, he would be betraying his cousin, whom he loves like a brother. Meanwhile, Ana feels an unpayable debt to Isaac for rescuing her from a difficult and tragic past, making their forbidden attraction even more tormenting.

Bound by loyalty, both must face the nightmare of sacrificing their happiness. But beyond their moral dilemma, they will also encounter far more worldly… and dangerous obstacles.
