Synopsis
Based on a true story, the film stars Arón Piper and Miguel Herrán as Reyes and Salgado, two soldiers who fought on opposite sides during the Spanish Civil War but must share both suffering and hope in a Soviet gulag during World War II. Forced to coexist, they must join forces against the cold, hunger, and the horrors lurking within the barbed wire fences. Stripped of their ideologies, they will discover the human being behind each uniform.
The film is based on the true story of Spanish prisoners who survived in a gulag in the Russian steppe during World War II.
